Besides those initial 3-layered loads (first to the cutscene then into the main menu THEN into the game) that game was pretty performant once it was running it seemed. I'm looking forward to getting Gears of War 2 on there; although their new "melt-in" effect to avoid the obviousness of texture-pop is pretty slick. Awwww, I didn’t know that.
