exo.blog did some testing of the Vista SP1 Release Candidate that was released recently and found the performance overall was almost completely unchanged between the RTM version and this SP1 version.

So for the folks that sit and stare that that goddamn progress bar while Vista takes 4x longer to copy the images off your camera, rest assured, you’ll still be doing that just as much now that Microsoft has had months to refine the OS and chosen to do approximately dick about it.
