Laurence Hartje sends along a cool project for Windows XP (ViStart) that essentially gives you the Windows Vista start menu on Windows XP:
I haven’t tried this myself but it certainly looks accurate. No idea if it responds like the Vista one or if it’s just a graphical screenshot-recreation of the menu. It seems like it completely replaces the start menu of XP with a separate application because it has it’s own configuration settings:
As opposed to just reskinning the XP start menu like Window Blinds might do.

Yes, its real. It mainly works like the vista one. I use it all the time with my fake vista, but you cant right click on the ViStart because it will just open whatever you right click on as if you left clicked on it.
