I don’t think I have the stamina for this game, but the VE3D crew is 37hrs into Fallout 3, and still not done with it:
Thirty-seven hours in, I’ve become a vampire, been hailed a saviour, a bigot, and a lover extraordinaire. I’ve battled Super Mutants, Radscorpions, and all manner of nasties. I’ve left the safety and security of the Vault, I’ve exterminated those who opposed me. And yet, I’ve only scratched the surface.
Given that IGN gave it a final score of 9.6/10 (cause God knows 9/10 or 10/10 would have been deal-breakers, it was .6 better than 9.0 and .4 worse than 10.0) I have to imagine the VE3D crew will think of it quite favorably as well. Andrew Burnes already gives it such praise that it sounds like it’s a must-buy, even for blind people, it’s so good.
They did take the time to record the first hour or so of gameplay in the form of 20-something individual movies. If you are interested and didn’t already buy the game, give it a peek.

I’m really looking forward to playing both Fallout 3 and Fable 2, but with Gears coming in just over a week I’ve decided to hold off on both and pick them up used later. Saves me some cash and I don’t have to rush through them to be done before I get wrapped up in Gears 2 for a months or two.

Jigsaw,
*exactly* what I’m doing as well. Fallout and Fable will be time sinks, which is fine, but in the face of a looming locust invasion I’m really rather busy
