Some great news for PS3 fans out there that might have been sad that even though Trophy Support was added to the 2.4 firmware, there weren’t many games to immediately try out and get trophies for. It was also starting to look like developers weren’t going to take the time to back-fill older titles with Trophy support… but that seems to be changing.
It looks like Naughty Dog did a patch release for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune that adds Trophy support, but only in Europe right now.
The assumption of course is that they are going to see how that patch goes and then roll it out on PSN here in the states next.
I’ve been wanting to replay Uncharted, so this is looking like a great opportunity to do so. It is also a good opportunity for developers to ship their Trophy patches with DLC as those will be the most common times players pull those games off the shelves, get the dust off them and pop them in… you might also try and gun them for some micropayments while you are at it.
Thanks PS3 Fanboy!
