‘mannyman2′ is reporting “sparks and flashes” during some scenes of a football game, mostly when the camera is zoomed in on a player and is panning (high motion in the background). It hasn’t been determined yet if the set is defective or of these are the “sparklies” people sometime report on rear projection televisions (I’ve seen them reported on the Sony, JVC, Samsung and HP). One person thought it might be the Screen Door Effect that ‘mannyman2′ was seeing.

I would point out this is the first time I’ve seen the word “sparks” or “flashes” used in the Mitsubishi thread, so either it’s a very subtle effect (like the Rainbow Effect) that only a few people see or he has a faulty set. I’ll keep you posted.
