This is the different between Gran Turismo and Dirt or something like that. Virtua Tennis is a fun, more arcadey playing game, the Top Spin series actually try and simulate tennis. You need to have your timing down, positioning, and they even integrate the analog sticks to do additional types of top-spin hits, slices, serves, etc.

My estimation, so far, is that the experience of Top Spin 3 with another good player is more satisfying, but getting there might be more work than you want.</description>
