Life & World

Buckle-up, this is a long one and it’s juicy!

Tin-Foil-Hat Wednesday Presents… The Bilderberg Group and World Domination!

I love conspiracies theories, and not just the theory itself, but tracking down pieces to it. Sort of like an Indiana Jones movie… except completely sedentary. So anyone I went on a recent internet adventure and had some fun doing it, so I’m going to share it with you. Have fun, and be sure to leave a comment to any details I omitted or you think are helpful/entertaining.

Anyway, I saw a post on Digg that linked over to We Are Change’s story about a member that asked Bill Clinton, at a Hillary Clinton, fund raiser about his ties to the Bilderberg Group. All together not that interesting. But I had never seen that word before, so I decided to look up “Bilderberg” and see what was going on.

As it turns out the Bilderberg Group is a group of roughly 100 of the worlds most influential and powerful people that meet every year at different locations around the world. Every 4 years they meet in the US or Canada. (I’m liking this so far… crazy-powerful people… secret meetings… so far so good).

Apparently the original purpose (1957) of the group was to provide a forum for the US and Europe to discuss their relationship in regards to the USSR (in the 1950s and 60s). The assumption is that the collection of so many powerful people has transformed over the years.

Conspiracy theories about the group grew out of claims by people over the years that the Bilderberg group had a hand in creating world events (Serbs have blamed the Group for the downfall of Slobodan Milosevic).

The other interesting part is that the list of members of the Bilderberg group include folks that already have quite a bit of mystery and conspiracy-theory surrounding them. Including members from the central banks (rumors suggest the World Bank ultimately control the directions of governments), Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz (former head of the World Bank) and I believe Clinton and Bush are rumored to be members as well.

A juicy quote from the WikiPedia entry:

One critic of the Bilderberg meetings, American conspiracy theorist radio host Alex Jones, claims that the group intends to dissolve the sovereignty of the United States and other countries into a supra-national structure similar to the European Union or a possible North American Union structured around the NAFTA trade agreements.[6]

But the thing is, during an interview on the Daily Show, Vicente Fox already admitted to having meetings with Bush about developing a North American union structured around a new currency: The Amero. Which led me to this post discussing the inevitable merger with Canada and Mexico that will take place. Turns out during a broadcast on CNBC Steve Previs let slip that the Amero is the hottest thing coming:

There is certainly enough information on the net about it, you know, so we grow amicable to the idea slowly :)

This of course leads into another interesting quote from WikiPedia:

Daniel Estulin, a Madrid-based author, claims that the long-term purpose of Bilderberg is to “Build a One-World Empire”. He states the group “is not the end but the means to a future One World Government” whose ultimate goal is to transform Earth into a prison planet “…policed by a United World Army, financially regulated by a World Bank, and populated by a microchipped population whose life’s needs have been stripped down to materialism and survival — work, buy, procreate, sleep — all connected to a global computer that monitors our every move.” [7]

And what would you need to build a one-world empire? Well first you’d need to get most of the world unified under common groups and then again unify those groups… wouldn’t you?

During my tracing around the net I found another quote about the announcement of the European Union and the Euro saying that the process could not be announced publicly until it was so far along that nothing could be done to stop it. My guess is that is exactly what is happening now between North American leaders.

Crazy Speculation Time

Here’s my own contribution to this conspiracy theory. For anyone else that doesn’t think anything in this world is happening “by chance” anymore, and the US didn’t just woops-accidentally have a crushing mortgage crisis, combined with uncapped spending for no reason, I propose that in order to prep the US for the adoption of the Amero and to get people to like the idea, we are decimating the value of the US Dollar in order to propose a new unified currency to the cheers and support of the people at some point in the near future (next 5 years?).

As it stands now, with a weak currency we put ourselves in a submissive position to countries with strong or growing currencies. With the Euro almost trading 2:1, I just can’t imagine the United States, keeper of the giant guns and the World Bank, is gonna let that fly forever. I would seriously expect “rumors” to start flying in 3-4 years and the actual event to occur with the ballpark of 5… but that’s my 2 cents… or 2 Ameros… HA!

If I’m right, I want to get invited to Bilderberg meetings and wear a “Smartest Man Alive” hat.

Well… So What?

But here’s the kicker… do we really care?

Do you care if North America becomes a union with Canada and Mexico? Certainly the governments have to continue to regulate immigration so as not to decimate economies in the area and other concerns… but will it really effect us? It might make travel easier and could impact the availability of jobs on the lower end of the pay scale or fuck with health care in the United States if the lines between our brothers to the North blurs (and then what about Mexico?)

I’m really curious about what a union would do to our every day lives as I fully expect it to happen… well I suppose I can just wait and see (unless of course I get invited to that Bilderberg meeting and someone just flat out tells me ;) )

Bonus Conspiracy Theory Material

Ok because you read this far, I loved this one. If you watched the movie National Treasure and got googley-eyed when they started talking about the Masons and world domination and integration of symbols into national logos and things like that, you should dig this post outlining the origins and history of the Freemasons.

Ironically enough, the one thing I found most credible was that they were satirized in an episode of the Simpsons… given the education level of some of the Simpsons writers and past mocks at science and mathematics it almost lends it more credence than a random post in a forum on the net.

Don’t worry everyone. world domination wont occur… 212 will be there to stop it.

  2. Riyad Kalla Says:

    What is 212?

Maybe more conspiracy theory links? I love any good conspiracy theory.

I actually went past the “Masonic Temple” in LA on La Cienega the other day and did a double-take. I think it’s called Lodge #520. Apparently there are TONS of these places out here.

…I just checked a minute ago and there’s a place less than a mile from my apartment.

You have to commit time and money to even get into these organizations, and it appears there’s not a whole lot of detail online about what these folks actually DO since the important stuff is behind closed doors. It’s fascinating but at the same time kind of scary.

  4. Riyad Kalla Says:

Ben I totally agree, it is really interesting and scary… I really want to know what happens at these clandestine things.

I wonder how much money these orgs pull in and how they hide/launder it to keep it hidden.

Sean, thanks for the link. We actually covered Zeitgeist a week or so ago:

    Definitely some interesting food-for-thought there.

    Hello All,

Just reading this little post and I find it quite interesting. My slave wife got an email sent to her from some online group she belogns to and it had a video I think of this group and their plans to take over the world. I was wondering if anyone has any idea as to where she got it or it may be found? Id like to keep that in my files.

Now I will say this…Would this group taking over the world really be so bad? I mean lets face it every type of government that has ever been devised has been tried and failed and that does include Democracy as in the USA and if you think it hasnt take a look around the country and see all the crap that goes on out there, most of it caused by the government.

    Later All

I hate the New world order you all ought to go to infowars.com and read some articles.

  9. Marc Says:

If you’re curious, go ask a Mason what they do. Ask to see the meeting room. They’ll let you! Meetings are private, not secret. Times and dates are public knowledge. Members go in the front door, not through a secret back door. If you want to join, just ask. It’s the oldest fraternity on the planet. The money we take in goes to our events, building fund, etc. mostly it goes to Masonic charities. Ever hear of the Shriner’s Hospital? Shriner’s are Masons and that is how this hospital can offer it’s services for FREE.

  10. Riyad Kalla Says:

    Marc,
What other things are discussed? Ultimately what kind of issues do the groups tackle?

  11. Marc Says:

Sorry for not responding sooner. Riyad, it’s boring often times. We have what we call a ’stated’ meeting once a month for official business. Other dates that the lodge is open can, but rarely are, used for important business. If so, those items are brought forth at the stated meeting. I’ll try to be brief, but I’d like to give you a good overall picture. The meeting is opened on the 3rd degree. In other words, you have to be at least a Master Mason. Last meeting minutes are read, also the minutes of any other meeting. Finances, sick list, new membership, upcoming events, etc. As a rule, adamantly, politics and religion are NEVER to be discussed at the lodge. Lodges in the U.S. are run by the Grand Lodge of their state. We are not a group of world changers as other groups are. We don’t have ’causes’, other than our charities. We affect the world and make it better by improving the individual. We believe in the improvement of one’s self. Obviously it works, as many of our members have gone on to be influential in the world.

Well i’d like to say in regard to the member of the free masons, that my grand father is also a member and said pretty much the same thing. However, with such a publicly open organization i would not expect everyone to be intertwined in the high levels of operation. the type of operation that involves advisement to members in high ranking positions of authority, the type of advisement that a men of that caliber would only trust if it cam from someone who shared in a brotherhood, i.e. a shared ethos; as would be true of any type of brotherhood outside the free masons. in this respect the ethos would more than likely pertain to eugenics, “a social philosophy which advocates the improvement of human hereditary traits through various forms of intervention.[2] Throughout history, eugenics has been regarded by its various advocates as a social responsibility, an altruistic stance of a society, meant to create healthier and more intelligent people, to save resources, and lessen human suffering.” (Wikipedia). now this may sound great, however when applied to a race of people based on the traits of human nature this makes for devastating pain and suffering as that “refinement” of the human gene pool requires trial and error. Ergo, since a eugenicist believes in genetic superiority, the “lowly creatons” are the obvious choice of test subjects as they are “inferior”(another thing to bear in mind is that there will still have to be Haves and Have-nots). as in the movie “Gatica” with Ethan Hawk discrimination will becomes a science. free thought will be reduced to controlled behaviors where nothing goes undocumented or categorized. the world we seem to face is one that embodies a machine more so than a dynamic creative reflection of the human spirit. family will be dissolved and the only allegiance will be to the state. far enough along nano machines will be implemented to eradicate anomalies that can not be suppressed with genetic control. “Brave New World” in the computer age. this “New World Order” is the enemy of any free thinking mind that believes in the true beauty of nature and probability. embracing or even sucoming to this vision is a flat out denial of the seemingly improbable gift of consciousness. transcendence to a higher state of consciousness poses a threat to the New World Order as all sorts of unpredictable anomalies could arise from such a citizen in the World State.
now in reference to a previous comment by the man looking for that video, it may be esoteric agenda, i would also try end game (an Alex Jones film).
i will say that every aspect of what this “conspiracy theory” entails is not to be taken as fact, even the finders of said information accept certain faults, but the fact remains that even if a portion of the overall picture laid out proves to be a reality, then all of it is up for stark consideration. this vision of a new world order threatens the essence of the human experience (however undefined such a concept may be). it is up to all of us a individuals to find our balance as natural organisms. balance is a lessons everything learns till the instant life ceases. im also not saying democracy(even though true democracy only exists on a small scale and we enjoy the republic form of government, but that is a kind of beside the point) is perfect because we can all see it isn’t, Winston Churchill said, “democracy is the worst form of government besides all the others”. as intelligent beings we must embrace our gift of reason to move society to something better no matter how improbable it may appear, that will be next step in human consciousness, when taming of nature with technology becomes no longer a struggle for complete control but instead a transcended concept that i do not feel i can even understand.
either way, both visions are out there, now we just have to make a choice, then again maybe all choice is an illusion and we are all gears in the spiritually mechanistic world that God has laid out for us, then again maybe not.

  13. May Says:

Hello, I’m new here. I live in Germany and I’ve seen the impact of having Europe to unite. People, not the gov’t, if they could turn the clock back, they would. DM was so much better for all people in european people, The euro is high but it doubled the prices in europe where they salary almost remain the same as in DM. Very expensive living. European countries at least have a stable economy and super standard living like having universal insurance long time ago. But in States would be difficult to adjust in that matter. They need to stabilize the living standard of the north americans first then move to the next step. My opinion.

  14. Editor Says:

    May,

That is an interesting point, the standard of living in the US is sort of all over the map right now. The one thing that fuel prices have done though is level the playing field across the country, gas is about $4/gal everywhere now, as opposed to the past where you might have $2.50/gal in California, but in the center of the US in some rural towns you might have $1.25/gal gas, cheaper living, etc.

Fuel has leveled that all out.

There are still discrepancies in land prices, but that is starting to settle back now and equalize after the mid-2000 boom that sent prices to the moon all over the country.

Canada seems pretty strong and Mexico’s state of living and strength is increasing by the year as more resources from the US move down there and more money is pumped into their economy. If the US does plan to unit the entire continent, we will have to bring up Mexico’s financial situation before we combine, otherwise we’ll loose the southern parts of California, Arizona and parts of Texas completely to Mexico.
