After the initial announcement and subsequent immediate comparisons to the iPhone, it looks like BlackBerry Bolds are finally starting to drop. CrackBerry unboxes it for everyone and entices the heck out of us with it’s dazzle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5FDxxYc-fY For anyone that hasn’t been up to speed on BlackBerry, the full-screen touch-screen that more closely maps to the iPhone is [...]

Well it looks like BlackBerry was working on a touch-screen smart phone after all! Pictured above is the new BlackBerry Thunder (9500-series); details are sparse right now, but I imagine will be coming out at a breakneck speed over the next few months. Reports are saying that RIM is trying to nail the typing experience with [...]

Cool… just visit their job site: rim.jobs That’s pretty awesome that they have enough of a sense of humor to set that up. Thanks Dave Bullock!

A detailed, mostly physical comparison between the iPhone and the BlackBerry Bold. If you saw the Bold and were curious how thick, wide, tall, short, heavy it was, this is the article to read. The gist of it is that the BlackBerry Bold is a bit thicker, has almost exactly the same surface form factor and [...]

Looks like John Mayer, classically an all-Apple kinda guy, received a preview BlackBerry Bold and is rocking it. So if you have a problem idolizing celebrities, hop on that bandwagon and get your Bold pre-ordered from whichever carrier you have.

Looks like RIM is offering a free personal-private data management application for all BlackBerry devices called BlackBerry Wallet. It’s not general PIM software, but rather software used to store your more private information like address, passwords, credit card numbers, etc. RIM claims it’s completely safe, so if you trust your BB and RIM completely, have at it. [...]

Well it’s official, BlackBerry has announced the “Bold” which is the official name of the 9000 series of phones that everyone has been waiting for. The actual photo (Above) seems to match pretty closely with the mockup that we posted a few days ago. Looks like availability will start this Summer first on AT&T, then later [...]

Laurence Hartje sends in some killer (albeit surprising) news that TVersity (everyone’s favorite transcoding/streaming software) version 1.0 will include BlackBerry support! Having used TVersity before to stream content off my PC onto a 360 and PS3 I was really impressed with the software namely because the on-the-fly transcoding which allows you to stream to most all [...]

Super-hotness… BGR is reporting that May 12 at WES 2008 the BlackBerry 9000 series will be announced/unveiled and available to be played with to your hearts content at the conference. If the mockup above is true to the real device, I’m surprised at the flat/glossy look of the keypad after the bubbled buttons on the Curve [...]

BoyGenius had an article about the upcoming BlackBerry 9000-series (Niagara… which is the code-name for like 27 other corporate products from companies) that everyone was speculating was going to be a giant touch-screen back when the iPhone first dropped and rumors were abound. Well now it looks like it is going to stay with the tried-and-true [...]

John Hering just sent a heads up that RIM (BlackBerry) is suffering another massive network outage (80% effected) just weeks after their 2nd outage in a year. Guys seriously… redundancy-what?

Laurence Hartje sent in news of a massive outage for BlackBerry users across the U.S., affecting up to 8 million users apparently due to some massive hardware failure on RIM’s side. This is the 2nd massive failure in the last 10 months for RIM. Don’t you iPhone users get too smug, AT&T isn’t without it’s problems either.
