When I came across the news that support for the origional Xbox ends next week I was actually quite surprised. I thought Microsoft stopped supporting them quite a while back.  Apparently not though.  On March 2 2009, Microsoft will stop offering repair services for the original Xbox console.  If you have an origional Xbox that needs repairs be sure to call in the next day to get it in before the coverage stops.  If your origional Xbox is still under warranty from Microsoft you can utilize their upgrade offer to get an Xbox 360. To participate in the upgrade program you’ll need to call Microsoft Support as it is not available online.
