Trekkies rejoice!  A new MMORPG developed by Cryptic has been announced today that will be based on the undying franchise of Star Trek.  Check out the following teaser to see it in action!

While this game will make many Trekkies happy in the pants, there has to be some questions about how Star Trek Online will handle combat outside of that between starships. In either case, a good portion of geekdom is probably celebrating their triumph and salivating at the chance (hopefully for them) to fulfill their ultimate dream: role-playing as a hot female Klingon.
