Loading ...The new Splatterhouse trailer dropped recently and honestly, it looks pretty good. Sort of a combination between the theme of Painkiller, mixed with the gameplay of Prince of Persia a bit, combined with some God of War — hard to go wrong there!
The one annoying thing with this trailer (not the game) is that at each point Jason was going to do some insanely gorey kill, it cut-scenes to something else… grrrrr. I guess we’ll have to wait for another pre-release trailer:

I miss playing the original Splatterhouse on my TG16. This one looks pretty sharp though, will give it a go.

Ken, me too but there are apparently shenanigans going on… word has it that at the last minute Namco (the publisher… I think it’s Namco) came in with their own team and re-claimed the title from the original developer to finish it off with members from the Afro Samurai team — apparently they sent in artists from Afro Samurai late last year to help with the title and they were butting heads with the existing Splatterhouse team and now the publisher is like “You guys get out, we are gonna finish this off” — so no idea what that is going to do to the release.
