BoyGenius had an article about the upcoming BlackBerry 9000-series (Niagara… which is the code-name for like 27 other corporate products from companies) that everyone was speculating was going to be a giant touch-screen back when the iPhone first dropped and rumors were abound.
Well now it looks like it is going to stay with the tried-and-true BlackBerry formula while offering a slightly thinner form factor and my guess, a high-res screen.
Additional note is that there will be an expensive 3G-enabled device and a cheaper non-3G version that will even have a different form factor to combat rumors that the 3G-version will be “fuck-ass expensive”.
