Thanks for the reply. Yeah I still have had no success with this application. I still have no sound either way. I am in the middle of upgrading to 1.1.4 so i’ll let you know what happens. I also have to restart my iphone to get the “normal” Iphone sound effects back.

I am having the same problems as Alex – I can make a call, but I get no sound. However, the person I called can hear me.
After closing the application, I also have to restart my iPhone in order to get back the “normal” sound effects of the phone.

BTW, I’m running firmware 1.1.4

Hey Riyad,

Thanks for the reply. I have no problems communicating with my cell using Skype. I actually have Fring installed on my Iphone and it works fantastic (except for a slight time delay). Bear in mind I am only running firmware 1.1.1, so perhaps when I upgrade to 1.1.4 it might work for me then…i’ll keep you posted in the next few days.

Hmmmm very strange Alex, what happens if you dial your cell phone from Skype on your computer, anything?

Hi Riyad,

I can’t hear them… and they can’t hear me either.

Everything else seems to work fine..the the screen indicates that the phone is dialing, and then it shows that the conversation is connected. Everything works except audio (kind of important when you think about it eh?)

I am only using WIFI because i’m in Canada. If the data rates were affordable up here I would try using EDGE, but right now thats just not possible..

Alex I haven’t tried it yet, but can the other person hear you, you just can’t hear them, or you can’t get ANYTHING working?

Also are you trying this over EDGE, or are you on Wifi when you try it? Mght be worth trying both.

I’ve installed this application on the iPhone and every time I try to call somebody it says its ringing but I can’t hear anything. When the other person picks up it says “in call” and I still can’t hear anything…really strange. Anyone else getting this problem?
