THQ and Volition are mixing together my two favorite things in the whole world: Porn Stars & Sandbox Gang Shooters.

It looks like (ex?) porn star Tera Patrick will be joining the producers list for the upcoming Saints Row 2 release; the extent of her involvement in the game is unknown at this point.

I put together a business proposal for THQ that involved integrated Tera, topless, into all the cutscenes of the game. I put together an example for the production team using cinema-grade graphic design tools. While it was really just a mockup, I think it shows the direction I would like to take the game in, really defining the genre and… lining up our asset-strategy… because we needed to downsize competative advantages… for stuff.

It’s pretty flawless as far as image-editing goes. I was almost hired to do the CG for Golum in the Lord of the Rings movies so yea… I’m pretty good at this stuff.

In all seriousness, the game does look pretty damn entertaining. While GTA4 took a serious approach to gameplay (serious story, serious city, serious physics, etc. etc.) Saints Row 2 looks more like an over-the-top game that doesn’t take itself too seriously… giving the developers a chance to put ridiculous things in that would otherwise seem too goofy for other games (e.g. a sewage treatment truck that you can blow sewage onto peds with).

It sort of reminds me of a half-baby between Grand Theft Auto series and Postal, check it out:
