The “Break it Down” Blog

After leaving Kojima Productions late last month due to a family related issue, nobody knew what was in store for Kojima’s seemingly right hand man, Ryan Payton.  This all changed today however as Kotaku reports that he may be taking on the role of Creative Director for Peter Jackson’s Halo: Chronicles.

Not too many details as of yet, but Kotaku claims that their source is very reliable, so I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Being someone responsible for, at least in my opinion, bringing better controls to Metal Gear Solid 4 he might be able to make the Halo games more approachable to people that prefer games like Call of Duty 4. Or maybe his role would be more storyline focused?

Whatever the case, I just hope we don’t get some bizzaro blend of MGS4 and Halo 3.
