Kotaku is rocking the Rock Band 2 news as they got a set of the drums in and snapped off some great shots of them up close, far away and comparing the two (Rock Band 1 vs Rock Band 2) drum sets.

Overall the Rock Band 2 drum set looks about 15% bigger pads, Kotaku claims they feel a lot better and there is of course the metal-reinforced pedal that shouldn’t snap when played. Unfortunately the pedal, except for a metal plate on the top, still seems to be primarily constructed of plastic, so we’ll see how that translates when launched.

Nice. I’m leaning towards getting the RB2 Bundle and then selling my current RB Drum Set on Craigslist. It works fine, but I want velocity sensitive pads

Probably a good call Jigsaw, I was surprised to see how much bigger the pads are now on the new set (happy to see it, but also surprised). And like you said, the more sensitive pads are going to be a nice addition.

can anyone tell me why in the comercial there are cymbals with the kit \?
