Springing off the success of the 80’s rework of “Transformers”, NBC seems to be bringing the return of “Knight Rider”. It seems as though we will be seeing a 2 hour made for TV movie airing on Feb 17. With the Transformers movie we saw the the widespread use of GM vehicles. But apparently NBC has decided to go with Ford, choosing the Mustang for KITT’s new look.
BURBANK, Calif. - December 12, 2007 - As “Knight Rider” — NBC’s iconic 1980s television classic that became a runaway success, comes roaring back to life on the network with an updated sequel that will air as a two-hour movie event on Sunday, February 17 (9-11 p.m. ET) — NBC
According to Variety magazine, NBC is readying the launch of a series to follow the year after. The cast is to feature Justin Bruening as Micheal:
