Niiiice, it looks like even though 2.30 firmware for the PS3 just dropped, adding a new PSN Store interface as well as adding DTS-HD support to the PS3, work on the next set of firmware upgrades is hot underway.

Sony promises not only in-game XMB but also a new video download service that will be “unlike any other”, improved community features (Home finally?) and pre-paid PSN cards or something… either way, I’m pumped.
