Productivity Secret

Claimed to be the productivity secret of Jerry Seinfeld and a great suggestion. It goes as follows:

  1. Cut a hole in a box…

woops wrong tip… here’s the real one:

  1. Get a calendar that shows every day of the year on a wall-sized piece of paper and a red marker
  2. Decide what you want to do/get better at (e.g. exercise, writing, learning something, etc.)
  3. Every day you do that task, make an “X” across the day you did it on
  4. Learn to hate missing a day and breaking the string of X’s

That’s it. You are essentially training yourself not to break the string of X’s. Interesting idea.
