oh i didn't knew burnout paradise already makes the 360 lag..

i read somewhere that by 2009 the 360 would start becoming "old".

5 years from now games will take full advantage of the ps3 and sony estimates that it will have a lifespan of up to 10 years (you may see new releases 8 or 9 years from now)

most phones today already cost more than ps3. It's a bargain.

Manny this is exactly right and one of the reasons I enjoy my PS3 so much.

I've been a closet PS3-lover because of the additional "computer-like" features it offers, but I've always felt the hardware is better. Now we are finally starting to see games that push the PS3 and the XBox isn't keeping up (Burnout Paradise is the first dual-release title that makes it pretty obvious, read here 2nd post)

Some folks mentioned that Microsoft is planning a hardware refresh to the 360 come next holiday season with a 45nm CPU and faster as well... what I don't understand is how does that help the 7 million people that already bought an old XBox 360? I don't think they'll do it, because it will create a rift in the developer community as well as owners.

Just my 2cents... but who knows, they've done stupider things before :D

great, sony doesn't stay behind.

i have seen many peeps argue that it didn't play divx... pssssss.

if they wanted it could be a full blown pc "out of the box", but umm.. they r going slowly and don't want to support so many features (yet)

in comparison to the ps2, this does so much more. They are just testing the waters so one day the "ps4" will have unlimited features. Personal computers will be known by our kids as "playstations" o.o
