The “Break it Down” Blog

Well every fan of Lord of the Rings ever just got their wish. After all the drama between Peter Jackson and New Line Cinema, it looks like the two groups have come to terms and decided to work together on 2 more films based on The Hobbit.

For those that don’t know, Jackson and New Line have been arguing for years about how much money Jackson should get for the LOTR series. Jackson argues that he wasn’t paid what he was promised in his contract and New Line argues that he got paid “more than enough” and is being “greedy”. Ir-un-dis-regardless, it sounds to me like New Line was pissed they had to shell out so many millions after making Evelendy-Billion dollars on the LOTR series.
