This week brought quite a few new games to the Xbox Live Marketplace.

On Xbox Live Arcade PowerUp Forever and Meteos Wars both released Wednesday for $10 (800 Microsoft Points).  Bomber Boing and Retro One released on Xbox Live’s Community Games for $5 (400 Microsoft Points) and Couples Sudoku released for $2.50 (200 Microsoft Points).   Additionally, Sega Soccer Slam and Raze’s Hell will both be coming to the Xbox Origionals next week for $15 (1200 Microsoft Points) each.

PowerUp Forever is a top-down arcade shooter, with unlimited levels, enemies and options.

Survive! Assimilate! Evolve! In PowerUp Forever, you must grow to survive, and to grow you must destroy! Meteos Wars is a action puzzle video game based on the original Metoes for the Nintendo DS.

Take a ride through an intergalactic journey where you slide, stack, and ignite your blocks to blast away the world-ending Meteos. Only you can stop them from falling and crushing your planet! Master combo links and power-ups to challenge your friends in intense multiplayer sessions.

Puzzle games don’t get any better than Meteos Wars, where the story, situation, and environments formulate an explosive adventure.

Sega Soccer Slam

Have you ever taken on a deranged kilt-wearing Scotsman in a wild, no-holds-barred soccer match? Each character in this anything-but-ordinary soccer game wields special powers and moves that, if executed properly, earn the big score. In Quest Mode, you can unlock secret stadiums and uncover hidden items to improve your already stellar performance.

Raze’s Hell

The Kewletts’ colonization efforts have taken a turn for the vicious … until the newly transformed Raze shows up. As Raze, you must vanquish the twisted princess and her invading force of Kewletts by any means necessary.

Bomber Boing is where strange creatures fight with no mercy for victory. Destroy the floor to finish with your rivals through its 30 scenarios with many different conditions. Ideal for playing with family, friends, or anyone with its online mode for Xbox Live!.

Retro One is a classic style side scrolling 2D space action game.

Couples Sudoku offers unlimited Sudoku Puzzles of various difficulty levels in Single Player, Multiplayer and CoOp game modes. Game styles include Freeplay, Time Trials, First to # and Arcade Mode which puts a new twist on Sudoku. This game was created for couples by a couple who wanted to play Sudoku together, competitively.
