The “Break it Down” Blog

I guess the rollout will take a few months (250k per month up to their 6 million subscribers… that’s it?), but it looks like renting online at Netflix will start this week.

The way it works is depending on your account level, you get a certain number of hours of content you can rent, you don’t pay per-media which rocks! The service is Windows XP/IE-only at this point though. No word on HD rentals, I believe you can only rent up to DVD quality at this point.

Update #2: It appears that Netflix has hit a home run… this service looks great!
