Loading ...For those of you that headed out to see Transformers you likely saw the trailer right before it for this unnamed movie:
If you are like me, you were hooked (if you haven’t seen it, give it a view). The only telling information given in the trailer is the name J.J. Abrams (Lost, Mission Impossible 3, etc.)
Knowing that this movie is coming out 1-18-08, if you dig through Abrams’s list of movies he’s producing right now, you’ll notice an untitled movie due to release in early 2008. The premise of the movie simply given as:
Revolves around a monster attack in New York as told from the point of view of a small group of people.
and the detailed synopsis giving:
A giant monster movie (currently referred to internally as Cloverfield; the monster itself is referred to as “The Parasite”, not to be confused with the film project The Parasyte) that is shot using home video cameras from the point of view of people who are experiencing an attack on New York City.
After some more digging around the comments, you come up with this blog entry claiming they know it’s the next Godzilla movie then giving a slew of reasons why. Certainly nothing air-tight, but I’m down with a cataclysmic monster movie… I love stuff like that.

I work in the music production field and I heard Godzilla’s scream when all the people were on the roof and the first blast was shown. I’m going to keep digging. Thanks guys
