This is frigging sweet… MTV Networks has launched their new site SouthParkStudios.com which will soon begin hosting all the episodes of South Park for free. This decision was made after MTV decided to do the same with The Daily Show and found posting the episodes online didn’t effect viewership of the show much at all.
As a lover of South Park, but someone without cable, this is a kick ass move by MTV. Thanks MTV for being forward-thinking and making this move. Your fans appreciate it.
In case you haven’t been into South Park for a while and want to know if the show is still good, yes… yes it is. Some of my favorite shows so far in the 11th season that are must-sees as far as I’m concerned are:
- 1108 – Le Petit Tourette: Cartman learns that kids with Tourettes syndrome can say whatever they want and not get in trouble… so he says he has it.
- 1105 – The Fantastic Easter Special: Stan learns the true reason behind Easter.
Then the Imagination Land 3-parter has got some pretty funny parts in it, but it wasn’t side-burstingly wonderful. And the Guitar Queer-O episode was funny as well… will probably be hilarious to people that play Guitar Hero.

But did you know you can also go to http://www.southparkzone.com and watch them all as well? Just curious.

Very true… I’ve heard comments before that the banner ads on that site are… odd (super-religion focused) but that may have changed… I have an ad-blocker so I don’t seem them.

I am also without cable and have always watched South Park on southparkzone.com. I think this is an awesome move by MTV and I hope more networks do this with their shows.
