Starting next week Microsoft is running a 13 day long Gear of War 2 Play and Win contest.  February 1st through 13th each day you play will get you an entry to win a 40 inch 1080p LCD TV plus a lot of other Gears of War 2 themed prizes. Despite not knowing a single person who has won any of the Play and Win sweepstakes that Microsoft runs I still love the fact they have them.  Just having the chance to win prizes for playing games I was going to play anyway is a nice touch.

To be entered in the sweepstakes head over here and register.  They also recommend checking your account information so they can contact you if you win.  Once you are registered just play the game type of Gears of War 2 listed for that date and you’re automatically entered.

Prize Periods
The Entry Period consists of thirteen separate Daily Prize Periods, as shown in the table below. In addition, if you earn a valid entry into all thirteen of the Daily Prize Periods (one valid entry per day during the Entry Period), you will automatically receive one entry into the Grand Prize Drawing.  Otherwise, each of your entries will only be eligible for the Daily Prize Period Drawing that corresponds to the Daily Prize Period during which it was received.
