While I don’t personally read enough books to make it worth buying an e-book reader I can appreciate why people would want one. You can easily take a lot of books with you anywhere without all the weight, no need to go to the book store when you want something new to read, and a lot less storage room needed to have your own little library of titles. When the original Kindle was released in November 2007 by Amazon.com it seemed like an decent alternative to the Sony Reader. The Kindle 2 has not yet been officially announced, but it is widely rumored that it will release on February 24th for $359. To further fuel the rumors some pretty realistic looking photos turned up online this week. So, is the Kindle 2 the e-book reader that everyone has been waiting for?
