Imagine you are sitting on a park bench, in the middle of the day and a stranger sits down next to you. He then turns to you and says:
You have 24hrs to take control of your life, or you will die.
What do you do? What does that phrase, “take control of your life”, mean to you?
I welcome anyone that wants to share, but more than anything, I just want you guys to mull this one over in your heads. You might be surprised as to what surfaces when you think about “taking control of your life” under pressure like that.

Dang! That’s a pretty deep post…. not the normal video game and movie review type of material. I assume you will follow this up with why we need to be thinking like this?

Erik,
I honestly didn’t have any followup planned… it was just a question that popped into my head the other day as my wife and I were walking out of Wanted… I asked my wife and she goes “Wow… I have no freaking idea what that would mean to me or what I was suppose to do”, where as I had an immediate reaction to it and knew exactly what I would do if that happened to me… unfortunately the realities of life are quite a bit different and I’m not really doing what popped into my head… yet at least.
Did you guys have a gut-reaction to that question that was different than what you currently do with your life? Was it surprising to you what it was?
I wonder/think the closer your life is to what you “think” your life should be, the happier you are… thoughts?
