Which other games were promised but never delivered? All the triple-A titles that were promised are all coming out this year and next. Also, out of desperation I actually got the ear of someone in-the-know and asked them about this game and they said it is definitely still coming. The company that is working on it likes to take a *long* time with their games, and for E3 2006 all they had made was this trailer from the movie above, so you gotta figure that's at least another 2 years to do the entire game.
