Jigsaw, thanks for the input, that's a really horrible ratio. I know that the GameTrailers, GameSpot and IGN crews *all* had issues with their drums and I think just 2 with the touch-sensitive neck... although they all agreed it was mostly useless since looking down to check finger positioning wasn't an option during gameplay.

I am also hearing the same input about RB2 so far from friends, that when you add up all the DLC, the improved instruments, and all the refinements of removing complaints about the gameplay (making a band from characters and assigning instruments on the fly), it sounds like that's the clear winner this season.

I took an informal poll of my friends that picked up GH:WT already and over half of them have an issue with their drums and a couple have issues with their guitars. I still plan to rent GH:WT eventually but Rock Band 2 is still holding my interest easily. All the RB2 DLC probably helps that since I've got new songs and challenges each week. When I finally get tired of playing the RB2 songs I'll then get to renting GH:WT.
