If you guys haven’t seen yet, there has been a teaser for the Ghostbusters game coming out in 2008:

A lot of you might have suddenly vomited a little, but before you decide this is lame, keep in mind that the game is actually getting Harold Ramis, Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd to reprise their roles as the Ghostbusters. Also Aykroyd and Ramis are teaming up to not only get the script for the game together, but also be involved beyond the script and voice acting requirements.

Interesting… then again, I am not aware of any good books or movie scripts that Aykroyd and Ramis have done… so this is either awesome, or the same as saying me and my dog have scripting duties for a new movie?

Game Trailers hooks us up with a gameplay movie as well. Keep in mind this game is still over a year away… so far the graphics/city-scapes and particle beams look awesome:
