The “Break it Down” Blog

Gears of War 2 has been out just over a month now and is already getting a second map pack.  The Flashback Map Pack released with the game for anyone who puchased the title new.  The Combustible Map Pack was announced tonight at Spike’s VGA Awards and is releasing tomorrow at 3am EST.

The Combustible Map Pack will cost you $10 (800 Microsoft Points) and contains just three maps. The map “Flood” is the imulsion based map that rumors have been circulationg about for a few weeks.  The “Gold Rush” map was origionally released with the PC version of Gears of War. The third and final map, “Fuel Station” looks similar to the Gears of War map Fuel Depot, but is not a direct remake.
