The U.S. will always lead in automobile. Ford is not even our luxury cars here (although this particular ford in the picture looks nicer than some luxury cars we have today). Did someone said GMC (General Motors Corporation) is Canadian? Go do some research buddy its pure American lol. Anyway sorry Asia and Europe Ford is only our regular middle class car here. I have a ford focus i bought it for a decent price and ive had it for 8 years no probs blue boys never catch me . My brothers chrysler split in half when he was splitting from the blue boys in texas then i ate a rib steak from a buffalo while hes doin bird in texas state. Man i love fords.

I think your statement is likely accurate… I don’t own American cars for exactly this reason.

My main problem with American cars is the underlying build quality. While it’s still possible to get a cherry of an American car to last you 10+ years, the fit-and-finish as well as the average build quality and miles-between-repairs is notably lower on American cars right now.

There is simply no comparison to be made between a Cadillac and a Lexus for example. Anyone that disagrees, I would encourage you to look at the resale of each car and the longer-term repair records. The Lexus will loose approximately 1-1.5k a year in depreciation, while the Cadillac will drop almost $20k in the first 2 years… it’s just sickening.
