Slashdot reports that 12 counties in Florida just passed resolutions against teaching evolution in school… super duper…
The best quote, that more or less sums it up was from Lisa Dizengoff, director of science curriculum at Pembroke Pines Charter School’s east campus
<she> angrily reminded the crowd that after all the carping over evolution, no one had gotten around to addressing the state’s lackadaisical, last-century approach to science education.
‘’All I heard was this argument about evolution,’’ she said, disgusted that so many other problems had been preempted by a single controversy.
“The kids lost out again.’’
Dude planet Earth lost out on that one. These 12 districts will be popping out idiot-children for god knows how long until scientists stop having debates about cold fusion and propulsion… oh god no, now we need to talk about “God energy” and “Jesus gravity forces”.

imposing stuff like this will only drive people farther away from church and religion.
i believe in a combination of both theories.
Religion doesn’t have all the answers nor does science. Both are needed.
i believe in God, i believe in hell and daemons, i believe in other dimensions and a multi-verse.
i can believe anything i want.
whom ever approved this should get canceled…
