Edit iPhone Notes on PC Using RemoteNote

Wed, May 14, 2008 (Technology)

RemoteNote is PC software that allows you to edit and work with the Notes stored directly on your iPhone using a web-admin interface on your PC.

You need to have a JailBroken iPhone or iPod Touch with firmware 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 installed though and also require a wifi connection on the phone to connect to it from your computer. The web admin interface is written in Flash and fairly slick.

While apps like this are headed in the right direction, I personally don’t see the appeal until it is written to sync with some larger service (Google, Yahoo, Outlook). Keeping notes in a mobile sandbox like this is only mildly helpful, unless you have snippets of information you really want on your iPhone for reference, then this makes perfect sense.
