It’s a pretty long video, if you want to see the “sweet stuff” skip to the half way point, that’s when they show the polished super moves that look wicked-sweet:

Agreed; I wasn’t keen on the new 3D styling until I saw it in action. They have really animated it in such a fluid/fast manner that I don’t feel like anything was lost from the old-school hand drawn animations.

I really don’t like how…goofy, all the characters look. SF has always been illustrated, and has had a cartoon visual style all along. But the previous entries in the serious, felt like the styling was more, mature or serious. These characters, especially their facial expressions, remind me of very cheesy, saturday morning cartoons. It just doesn’t give the characters the same feeling. The animations are smooth, and the gameplay looks pretty solid, but the characters just look silly.

    Dik,
I totally don’t like how Ryu and Ken look, not at all like their more serious/anime-ey drawn counter parts, but I think other characters like Sagat ended up looking pretty sweet.

Do you think any fo the new ones look good?
