Yeah and I have have my normal computer set up on my desk, and i have a slimpro set up as a downloading server. it turns itself on and off according to my off-peak internet time so i can get the most of my downloads while i sleep. it runs headless, but when i want to go in and edit any of the programs or if there are any problems it's a pain unplugging my desktop monitor and plugging it into the slimpro and its really not worth buying another monitor for, and i dont want to take up the space. this way i can have the little monitor sitting on my desk like a photoframe, then when i want to have a look at whats going on inside my server i can just pop it in the usb. saves cables and power!!

I need this thing. My current home theater setup includes a computer, using the TVs VGA port as the monitor. I have various "smart home" applications running on the box. Other than using TV to run these apps (switching the TV source to VGA) or using my laptop via Remote Desktop (size, power consumption, and power cord) I really have no alternatives. This little guy (or the Mimo 740) requires no power cord stretched across the floor. I'll be able to run the USB cord through a conduit I had installed in the floor for my CAT5 cables that sits under the coffee table. It's just the right size, won't need a mouse, and is actually pretty cool looking. Basically I would be able to use it as a touch screen remote and see when new email arrive with out swapping the TV source.
