Rumors abound that PC Gamer is putting together the pieces to a puzzle that seems to show Blizzard is prepping a Diablo (3) announcement next month in Parise:
- PC Gamer was probably among the Gaming press Magazines who visited Blizzard Entertainment early on May, a few weeks ago.
- If you remember, PC Gamer knew about the Starcraft II announcement last May 2007. Blizzard Entertainment made the announcement at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals (WWI) at Seoul, South Korea.
- PC Gamer can’t talk about it for the next 30 days … the 2008 Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals at Paris, France takes place on June 28-29.
- June 29 is the date Diablo II shipped on USA (2000) and the same date the expansion Lord of Destruction shipped on Europe a year later (2001).

Diablo 3, it’s a damn shame but I think Blizzard is going to have us waiting over a year on this one.
Did you see about 3 weeks ago they posted a job opening for a Art Director for Diablo 3? Ummmm… goddamn.
The last game that showed teaser material THEN posted like 9 job openings was Duke Nukem Forever, and that was like a year and a half ago.
I seriously think Star Craft 2 will be a Fall ‘08 title and Diablo 3 will be a Fall ‘09 title, which really stinks… I wish they wouldn’t show this stuff so far out, but then agian, they really do make good titles, so I suppose they can do whatever they want
