The “Break it Down” Blog

This is a pretty slick method of creating custom ringtones out of any song for your iPhone for free.

Requirements:

• iTunes 7.4
• iPhone

Steps:

1. Find the AAC song you want to make your ringtone
2. Rename it, using a file manager (e.g. Windows Explorer) to a .M4R extension



3. Double-click the new M4R file, it will load in iTunes as a ringtone



4. Flip to iPhone tab and sync the phone.
5. Done!

Well that was certainly easy…
