One of Giz’s readers report that Tiger Direct, after purchasing the CompUSA chain, has re-energized it and apparently stuffed it full of awesome before relaunching it:

It’s a much better store than it used to be, full of components, motherboards, and lots of actually _helpful_ people who know computers.

That’s pretty awesome… this is like old-school CompUSA, or immediate-post-GeekSquad-Best-Buy-Buyout before they fired all the techs and hired salesmen as techs.
