The “Break it Down” Blog

Ok so I caved-in and got a PS3. The reasons I caved are as follows:

• I am naturally weak-willed in the face of shiny objects.
• I wanted to play:
  1. Bully
  2. God of War
  3. God of War II
• The revised version of the PS3 in May will not include the PS2 internals to help lower production costs. This means the backward compatibility will be provided by software-emulators and not by actually embedding a PS2 unit inside the PS3. Given that all the games I want to play on the PS3 are PS2 games, this was important (AND sad).
• Announcements that Bully 2, Heavy Rain and God of War III will be on PS3 (in addition to the usual suspects like Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid)

The only thing I’m worried about right now is that on my Amazon receipt (where I bought the games from) Bully is listed as a “Windows” game, but all the screenshots are of the PS2 box and there was never a Windows release of Bully, so I hope it’s just a screw up.
