Earlier this week, we covered the quick sell out of BlizzCon tickets as well as the problems that arose from the massive load on the servers.  On Wednesday, the president of Blizzard, Mike Morhalme wrote an apology and presented an opportunity for those who were unable to purchase tickets due to the Blizzard Store problems.

“Soon, eligible Blizzard Account holders who created accounts prior to 9:00 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 will be able to opt in for a chance to purchase up to two tickets to the show.”

3,000 more tickets will be on sale via random drawing.  The BlizzCon website states that more details about the drawings will be released early next week.
