Laurence Hartje sent in news of a massive outage for BlackBerry users across the U.S., affecting up to 8 million users apparently due to some massive hardware failure on RIM’s side.

This is the 2nd massive failure in the last 10 months for RIM.

Don’t you iPhone users get too smug, AT&T isn’t without it’s problems either.
