I wonder if they just hang a ticket (like a parking ticket?) on your door... or actually have the right to come in the house and physically check the TV. I think out of principle I'd get rid of my TV... that would be fucking ridiculous. I'd also make the assertion that if the TVs aren't already built to transmit an identification as well as a LICENSED/UNLICENSED status for a short wireless range, they will be soon.
