PS3 Firmware 2.4 to be released Wednesday, July 2nd
PS3 users rejoice! VE3d is reporting that PS3 firmware 2.4 (trophies/in game XMB) will be released this Wednesday. The Financial Times is running a story stating that Paramount has a get-out-of-HD-DVD-free clause in their exclusivity contract… specifically if Warner moved to Blu-ray exclusively (but that would NEVER happen). Here’s the current break down of studio support:
