Grant Gochnauer just sent in the scoop that the new Alien vs Predator movie (RT Link as well) has a new R-rated trailer out that is extremely gory.

As someone who actually liked Alien vs Predator (thought it was a really cool way to integrate the two stories with each other and a pretty respectable execution) I’m totally pumped for this.

I also am a huge fan of grand-disaster/alien movies where everyone/tons of people are involved, and it’s not just some random family out in the middle of no where that experiences the phenomenon and no one else sees it. That’s part of the reason I loved Signs so much, it involved the whole world and wasn’t a secret.

It’s a lot like how Snuffalufagus (on Sesame Street) was Big Bird’s imaginary friend and would disappear every time someone else would show up. They finally made Snuffy real… but for that while when he was fake, it drove me bat-shit-crazy.

WB Signing Frog

Same goes for that goddamn singing frog from the old WB cartoons with Bugs Bunny. He would sing when it was only that 1 character around, but as soon as someone else would show up, the frog would just ribbit. It was maddening.
