Loading ...This is one game I am very excited about. I am starting to lean farther away from classic FPS and Fighters and really get into RPG-type games, mostly games with strong story lines and characters and Alan Wake absolutely looks like it will have all of the above.
To prepare you for this or to let you know if you should even bother watching it, consider that they are some of the most detailed/amazing outdoor scenery I’ve seen next to Crysis with volumetric lighting that makes Splinter Cell look anemic… I’m honestly amazed at the engine that Remedy has pulled out of their sleeve to make this game. I really hope the story line is worthy of it.

My only concern at this point is that they are demoing this machine with top of the line nVidia hadware on a quad (not dual, but quad) core Intel machine. So the initial release of the game is planned for XBox 360 which is a hugely underpowered piece of hardware when compared to those specifications of the demo machine, that makes me think that desktop gaming isn’t dead just yet, and also wonder what I will sacrifice visually to play this game on the XBox 360, I suppose I will wait for the XBox Live demo so I can see for myself.
