Loading ...If you haven’t played these games yet, set aside a few hours to burn up and dig in. Here are 5 of the best. The strategy is very Warcraft-2-ish in nature, but a bit simpler… like a Tetris game or something. Super simple to get started and just addicting to try and figure out a better and better strategy to destroy all the bad guys (Creeps).

The purpose of these games is that you build different kinds of turrets or weapons onto the playing field and the game shuffles wave after wave of bad guys at you, and you have to setup the appropriate number/kind of weapons to destroy all the bad guys before they reach the exit on the other side of the screen. You usually get 20 lives, and you loose a life for every bad guy that “escapes”… you also get gold for killing them and buy upgrades or more towers to build. It’s tricky.
Onslaught is probably the prettiest version of the game, but I preferred the other two above… Onslaught seemed a bit too complicated; which is part of the reason the other two work so well.
