The “Break it Down” Blog

For the folks that haven’t been following this mysterious movie, it all started with an unlabeled trailer that played right before Transformers last summer. Everyone started scrambling around the net for clues to figure out what the movie was about… some agreed it was the next Godzilla movie, but I believe since then that has been discredited.

A few months later we got a revised trailer that was just as cryptic, yet certainly interesting. And now J.J. Abrams has released a 3mins segment from the beginning of the movie to post online, here it is:

I have to say I’m pretty pumped for this movie. I am a sucker for Sci-Fi/Mysterious-stuff type movies. I love the discovery period of movies like this where they begin to learn about the threat, what it is, etc. That was the only part of Godzilla I actually liked, was at the very beginning when they see the giant foot prints… then the movie went fucking-stupid on itself by making Matthew Broderick a scientist and making Maria Patillio a stupid get-the-story-at-all-cost reporter that Broderick has a thing for… uggggg I hated every character in that movie except for Godzilla.
